Encore aujourd’hui, on peine à mesurer l’influence des jeux de rôle papier. Sans eux, les MMORPG et même la culture geek en général n’existerait pas. Et rien de tout cela n’aurait été possible sans le premier d’entre eux, Dungeons & Dragons (ou Donj’ comme l’appelle affectueusement ses fans), ou encore D&D. Ce jeu va poser non seulement les bases d’un nouveau médium, mais aussi redéfinir la fantasy et plus largement notre imaginaire contemporain.
