Ils nous accompagnent dans nos premières années, et pourtant, derrière leur caractère foncièrement naïf, les poupées, les nounours et autres petits soldats n’ont rien d'innocents ! Eh oui, à toutes les époques, on joue à la guerre, à faire mourir et ressusciter des personnages imaginaires, bref : le jouet, c’est un miroir des fantasmes et des peurs. Ceux des enfants… mais surtout ceux des adultes ! Du coup, je me dis que connaître les jouets d’une époque, c’est aussi découvrir ses mentalités. Mais alors quoi choisir ? Le Néolithique ? La Révolution française ? L’Égypte pharaonique ? On se refait pas, du coup, j’ai choisi de me concentrer sur… les vikings !
