Dr. Kreiner feiert ihr 40. Dienstjubiläum in der abgelegenen Polizeiinspektion Oberholzach. Plötzlich taucht der Beamte Pross mit drei Kollegen und dem Gefangenen Trebitsch auf.
Trebitsch soll nach München transportiert werden, aber der Wagen hat eine Panne, die sich bald als Sabotage herausstellt. Der Gefangene ist der Bruder von Roman Trebitsch, einer ganz großen Nummer in Sachen Geldwäsche. Nun will Kai gegen Roman aussagen.
