Dr. Kreiners Feier ihres 40. Dienstjubiläums in der abgelegenen Polizeiinspektion Oberholzach ist in ein Desaster ausgeartet: Die PI ist von schwer bewaffneten Angreifern umzingelt. Die Angreifer arbeiten im Auftrag von Roman Trebitsch, der Geldwäsche im ganz großen Stil betreibt und dessen Bruder Kai gerade in Oberholzach in der Zelle sitzt. Kai will gegen Roman aussagen. Das will Roman um jeden Preis verhindern und fordert dessen Auslieferung.
Von der Außenwelt abgeschnitten und den Angreifern heillos unterlegen, setzt Bauer seinen Plan durch: Kai Trebitsch wird den Belagerern nicht ausgeliefert. Stattdessen soll die Besatzung der PI durchhalten bis zum Morgengrauen. Nicht alle Kollegen sind mit der Strategie ihres Chefs einverstanden, und als klar wird, dass die Belagerer noch Verstärkung bekommen, will Renner Trebitsch auf eigene Faust rausschaffen. (Text: ZDF)
