Kriminaltechnikerin Billie Curio steht schockiert am Tatort. Sie kennt das Mordopfer Timon Hauck. Am Vorabend hat sie ihn bei einem Speed-Dating kennengelernt und sich in ihn verliebt.
Timon gehörte der angesagte 50er-Jahre-Retro-Diner, in dem das Speed-Dating stattfand. Er hatte sich damit erst vor einem Jahr einen Traum erfüllt und seinen Beruf als Versicherungsfachmann aufgegeben. In einem speziellen Fall jedoch war er noch tätig.
