Der Rentner Manfred Braun wird in seiner Garage erschlagen. Der Fall sorgt rasch für Turbulenzen. Denn der Tote ist der heimliche Geliebte von Dr. Philip Krafts Mutter Marianne.
Schnell wird Dr. Krafts Vater verdächtigt. Eberhard Kraft war den beiden kurz zuvor auf die Schliche gekommen. Als er Manfred konfrontierte, brach eine Prügelei aus. Doch Philip kann nicht glauben, dass sein Vater ein Mörder ist.
