A year after the death of her lover, Emmanuelle St-Cyr, head of the emergency room of St-Vincent Hospital, welcomes to her team Jacob Faubert, a young emergency physician who destabilizes Emmanuelle by awakening old demons. The paramedics arrive with two seriously injured teenagers. For his part, Philippe evaluates Chrystelle, a young woman plagued by disturbing hallucinations whose spouse has a boiling temperament.
