スコルピオの必殺キックによって、スティンガーを庇ったチャンプが大破した。
チャンプはリベリオンに修繕のため送られ、その護衛をつとめたスティンガーは一時戦力外通告を受けたも同然。オリオン号は暗い影に覆われていた。
そんな中、一刻も早くリュウコツキュータマを手に入れてアルゴ船をよみがえらせることがチャンプを失ったキュウレンジャーの最高のモチベーションになるはずだったが、まだラシンバンキュータマのキューエナジーが溜まらない。
そんなモヤモヤした状況に、ガルはイライラをつのらせる。
