Vor zwei Jahren wurde Robert Karows Partner Gregor Maihack bei einem verdeckten Einsatz erschossen. Seit zwei Jahren sind die Todesumstände nicht aufgeklärt. Hatte Karow selber die Hand im Spiel? Jetzt will der Kronzeuge Andi Berger die entscheidende Aussage machen. Doch auf dem Weg zu Staatsanwalt Hemrich geraten Karow und Berger in einen Hinterhalt.
