Eine junge Frau verschwindet im Züricher Nachtleben. Am nächsten Morgen stehen die Kommissarinnen Isabelle Grandjean (Anna Pieri Zuercher) und Tessa Ott (Carol Schuler) mit Staatsanwältin Wegenast (Rachel Braunschweig) vor der Leiche: In einer Baumkrone hängt Vanessa Tomasi (Elena Flury) – und eine Seite ihres langen blonden Haares ist abrasiert!
