In het bijzijn van Florke dwingt Frank Jenny om nu eens zelf te zeggen dat het echt gedaan is tussen hun twee. Zolang er geen echte scheiding is, vindt Jenny dat ze nog iets te zeggen heeft over haar huis. Erg aangedaan komt ze ten huize Walter aan waar ze wat troost vindt bij Bianca. Frank dringt bij Simonne aan om wat geduld te hebben met zijn moeder zodat er eindelijk weer wat rust komt in zijn huis. Bianca kan beter en beter opschieten met Tom. Samen met Peggy gaat ze naar de job van dienster vragen. Omdat ze echter minderjarig is moet ze het wel aan Jenny vragen. Peggy en Bianca slagen erin om hun moeders mee naar de cafetaria te nemen, om eens te gaan zien. Ze komen echter van een kale reis thuis: er is maar één vacature meer.

Based initially on the Australian soap 'The Restless Years,' GTST later switched to original scripts from its third season onwards. Set in the fictional town of Meerdijk, it centers around several families including Alberts, Sanders, De Jong, Van Houten and Bouwhuis.
What makes GTST exceptionally gripping is its successful incorporation of relatable life elements such as marriage and divorce as well as more extreme experiences like kidnappings and business intrigues. The series isn't afraid of tackling controversial topics either – in 2014 it became a trailblazer by featuring a gay marriage on Dutch TV.
