Wilsberg, Alex, Ekki and Anna celebrate late into the night. Alex has completed her first lawyer case. A few hours later, a young woman, Melanie Haller, is dead on the street. Ekki's red car is just a few meters from the body. The doors are wide open, there is no trace of the driver. Anna has no choice but to arrest the slightly hungover Ekki the next morning on suspicion of negligent killing. But he refuses to testify.
