Richard Breiderhoff is accused of killing his wife Anke Füsting. Alex represents Nikola Füsting, sister of the dead and owner of a horse stud, as a co-plaintiff in court. When Nikola asks her lawyer Alex to bring the valuable semen from the breeding stallion “Stolz von Bielefeld” to the Warendorf state stud, Alex is attacked on the way there and the cooler with the semen is stolen. Meanwhile, Anna Springer has a blind date with her internet acquaintance Karsten. The two get on very well and end up in bed the same evening. When Anna finds out that Karsten is Richard Breiderhoff's brother and she angrily confronts him about it, Karsten takes Anna into his power and from then on keeps her trapped in a cellar. Karsten urges her to call Georg Wilsberg so that he can find something that proves Richard's innocence. Wilsberg immediately notices that Anna is in danger.
