Wilsberg had actually been looking forward to a Christmas party with Ekki, Alex and Anna. But nothing will come of it, everyone is planned differently or, like Anna, is "sick". Overbeck would be there, but Wilsberg is happy to do without that. Still, it won't be quiet for Wilsberg. A heavily pregnant woman shows up in the antiquarian bookshop on the morning of December 24th. She asks Wilsberg to find her recently missing friend Johannes.
