Taiwan’s presidential election descends into chaos when a polling station bombing shakes the nation—casting a dark cloud over the outcome.

In the months-long power vacuum that follows, a Chinese Yun-8 reconnaissance aircraft crosses the South China Sea... and vanishes off Taiwan’s eastern coast.

Beijing responds. Under the pretext of a search-and-rescue mission, waves of Chinese naval and air forces flood the region—encircling Taiwan’s waters. The countdown to the PLA’s “Zero Day” invasion has begun.
