In 1995, young Assane Diop was shocked by the suicide of his father, accused of a theft he had not committed. Twenty-five years later, Assane (Omar Sy) organizes the theft of a necklace that once belonged to Marie-Antoinette of Austria. The jewel, now on display in the Louvre, belonged to the wealthy Pellegrini family. He wanted to take revenge on the family for falsely accusing his father, taking his inspiration from his favorite character: the "gentleman burglar" Arsène Lupin. Alongside his illegal activities, Assane is also trying to take better care of his son Raoul, who now lives with his ex-girlfriend Claire (Ludivine Sagnier).
