The essential reminder is simple: Haunted Hotel follows Katherine, a single mother of two trying to manage a haunted hotel while raising her family and keeping the business alive. Her situation is made even more complicated by Nathan, her estranged brother, who is no longer among the living but remains very much involved as one of the ghosts. Instead of being a helpful supernatural co-manager, Nathan is the kind of spectral presence who thinks the other ghosts may actually have some good ideas—which is usually where the trouble starts. Season 1 established the show’s central comic engine: family drama colliding with ghost logic, business chaos and a building full of dead personalities who refuse to stay in the background.
What makes the upcoming Season 2 exciting is that Haunted Hotel has already built a premise designed to expand.
