Leap of Faith
C.J. returns from France without Matt. She, Stephanie and Caroline are training some Junior Lifeguards. In order to improve the girls' lifeguard skills, they separate them from the boys. During an exercise where the girls are supposed to rescue a dummy, they get distracted by the boys instead and no one even notices the dummy who sinks to the bottom of the ocean. Then they decide that the only way to teach the girls teamwork, is to take them to Catalina. Unfortunately for them, Neely invite herself and C.J. and Caroline become furious. But the two of them decide to give Neely a chance.
When two of the girls, Erika and Taylor get caught in a strong current and ends up trapped in a cave, the girls have to act as a team in order to get them out. The rescue is a success and the girls learn what teamwork is.

Volvemos a aquella época en la que Pamela Anderson causaba sensación con su icónico bañador rojo en las playas de Malibú y en la que Tommy Lee, batería de Mötley Crüe, estaba en el punto más álgido de su carrera como estrella del rock. En efecto, hemos vuelto a los noventa, cuando esta pareja acaparó los titulares al casarse solo 96 horas después de conocerse, y al filtrarse una cinta íntima que grabaron durante su luna de miel... de esto habla Pam & Tommy, que se estrenará el día 2 de febrero en Disney+.
La miniserie creada por Robert Siegel nos remonta a una época no tal lejana, antes del boom de internet, un momento en el que Pamela Anderson (una Lily James irreconocible) y Tommy Lee (un alocado Sebastian Stan) eran auténticas celebridades. Ocho episodios que recorren el desconcierto que fue, en algunos aspectos, la década de los noventa (¡solo hay que ver lo horteras que eran los peinados!).
Seth Rogen interpreta a Rand Gauthier, la persona (¡real!) que robó la cinta de la pareja, y el que da el pistoletazo de salida a la historia. Junto a él, Nick Offerman y Taylor Schilling completan el reparto. Fueron Gauthier y el "tío" Miltie (interpretado por Nick Offerman) los responsables de filtrar la cinta en la web, aunque la difusión del video fue limitada, ya que no había redes sociales tal y como las conocemos. Y menos mal: las consecuencias hoy en día habrían sido mucho peores.
