It's been a while since we've done a "Today-ish In Spaceflight History" where I recreate a historic spaceflight mission with my friend Jacob EQ / Uncle Dad who knows NOTHING about space or spaceflight. He asks the questions, I provide the answers.
Today we're recreating one of the all time greatest missions ever, the Cassini / Huygens mission which took off on October 15th, 1997 from SLC-40 on top of a Titan IV B rocket.
BUT, come January 14th, 2005 (today ISHHHH), the Cassini probe sent to Huygens probe onto a successful touchdown of Titan! YAY! So we're gonna do that.
