His name was Boose Moose, an alien with a body of a moose but the head of Jim Carrey, first Rhoades was surprised by this amazing being, but Boose Moose carried a warning with him 1x1=2. Jame's mind imploded by this discovery and from here on out he spends his life delivering this important mathematical revelation to the people of America.
