The confines of masculinity and all its norms have trapped men for far too long, and in that time have caused immeasurable harm to them and those around them. I want to explore why men are taught from birth that adhering to the norms of masculinity and how the very thought of leaving its boundaries has become a terrifying prospect for many. I also want to talk about how even though masculinity is a prison, it's one from which men can escape from at any time.
