De helden van Arnout

In this programme, Arnout Hauben travels after eight forgotten Belgians, who have made a heroic journey throughout history. Each and every one of these people left their safe church tower behind and went out into the wide world, chasing their dreams and ideals. Hauben follows their trail through letters and diaries and travels through Russia, Mongolia, Morocco, South Africa, France, the United States, Peru and Ukraine. He is accompanied by cameraman Jasper Stoefs.
