Abigail is in court to claim £376.15 for the amount owed on a phone contract she took out for a friend. Defendant Ben says due to a serious illness he was unable to work and could not afford the repayments.

Dominic is in court to claim £4,925 on behalf of his mother for a loan she took out for his brother to pay for a car. Defendant Chris says he was unable to secure funds to pay off the loan and as his Mother knew the risks, he owes nothing.
