Sue is in court to claim £4,040 owed on loans she made to a friend to help towards moving into a new property. Defendant Jen says she doesn't owe the full amount as she hasn't reached the end of the loan term agreed and therefore hasn't been given the opportunity to pay the loan back in full.

Norma is in court to claim £3,322.55 owed on a loan she made to her friend to help pay for her wedding. Defendant Molly says since being made redundant her circumstances have changed and she is unable to pay the money back in one lump sum.
