I want to add that, AGAIN, I do not dislike Patty and I know that her comic book counterpart has a crush on Barry and they date in the NEW 52, but it does not erase the transparent way she is being introduced into the narrative and the larger way fandom is quick to flock to everyone but Iris as a love interest for Barry.
