Why Shane Dawson Deserves More Credit Than People Give Him

I don’t think people give Shane Dawson the credit he deserves. An outsider’s first instinct is to categorize Shane Dawson’s videos as “just for kids”, and people discredit him this way. It’s as if they’re saying his content isn’t sophisticated enough for adults. The problem is people have been saying that for over a decade. When other YouTubers have disappeared off the platform, creators like Shane Dawson have thrived and built businesses.
