The city of Machu Picchu is located at 2,430 meters in the Andes Mountains and is visited by 800,000 people annually. It remains one of the Inca's most fascinating and enigmatic creations. Scientists have long focused solely on the citadel.

But thanks to the latest technologies, they can now also explore the jungle around the city and find out what is still to be found under and around the city. The experts at Machu Picchu look in height and dig in depth, sharing their most recent discoveries and introducing the public to hitherto undiscovered parts of the site.
