Emily goes on to the building site and when she is told that Jones is not there she says she'll wait. When he finally arrives he tries to fob her off, but he does finally talk to her and refuses to take responsibility for redundancy money and the girls are disappointed and they come to a decision to implement stage two. Jenny is still worried about her dad and both Audrey then Alf drop round to warn her that the trial will not be plain sailing. Audrey takes Ivy's side against Gail and Martin but Gail says their relationship will go on.
