In Geoje-do, Sun-jae meets his son Gi-dong, who he thought was in Seoul. Sun-jae hears why Gi-dong had no choice but to come to Geoje-do and feels troubled. Gi-dong comes across Cho-won while trying to find the mother of a child who was crying after dropping her doll into the sea. Meanwhile, Ok-sook is flustered by the unfriendly attitude of Won-hui, whom she meets at the table tennis club, but tries to befriend her.
