TERMINOLOGY:
*Role-play: Acting out different characters, or roles, during sex. Common examples include teacher and student, doctor and patient, etc.

*Power-play: Experimenting with exchanges of power during sex. Also know as domination and submission. One party dominates while the other is submissive. More info in links above.

*BDSM: acronym for Bondage Discipline Sadism Masochism, may also include Domination Submission. Describes particular sex acts as well as a lifestyle and subculture. More info in links above.
--Bondage: The use of restraints
--Discipline: The act of disciplining during sex, usually involves roleplay
--Sadism: Pleasure derived from inflicting pain upon others
--Masochism: Pleasure derived from being inflicted with pain

*Electrocution/electrical-play: The use of distinct electrical sex toys which carry an electrical charge themselves or can electrically charge certain body parts. Often to aid electrocution fantasies or roleplay.
