Summer 1991: Camille is spending her vacation with her grandmother in a small seaside resort on the Vendée coast. There she meets two young men who couldn't be more different: The melancholic Martin is rather quiet and thoughtful, burdened by his father's alcoholism and the obligation to continue his father's work in the fishing industry. The charismatic Alexandre, on the other hand, is outgoing and, as the son of the local beach club owner, possesses a sunny disposition. The two best friends, who are like night and day, are both fascinated by Camille, while she herself is still unsure of what she wants. What begins as a fleeting encounter develops into an intricate relationship that binds the three teenagers together beyond the summer. (Text: VT/arte)
