While giving a course at the university, Louise Arbus, a professor of psychocriminology, is called to a crime scene by Commissioner Rugasira. She discovers the victim, Sofia Perez, a young woman killed by twelve stab wounds, on a railway track. The staging is neat: she is seated in an armchair, her hands glued to her eyes. On his back is written: "I am waiting for the perfect killer". A sentence taken from a book by Louise. The latter has no choice but to participate in the investigation led by Captain Barbara Delandre. It recruited four of its students.
