Vous avez déjà dû remarquer que la Seconde Guerre mondiale était l’une de mes périodes historiques favorites et pour preuve, j’ai réalisé de nombreuses émissions sur les batailles de ce conflit, sur la Résistance ou encore sur le Troisième Reich. Autant de vidéos qui donnent parfois l’impression que cette époque n’a plus de secret. Alors qu’en fait… même dans une histoire aussi proche de nous, on fait encore des découvertes quotidiennes ! Aujourd’hui, je souhaite revenir avec vous sur l’histoire d’une unité militaire surprenante, méconnue, particulièrement abominable mais néanmoins très éclairante pour comprendre les crimes des SS et la vision du monde des nazis. Cette unité, c’est la 36e division de grenadiers de la Waffen-SS, plus connue sous son surnom de Brigade Dirlewanger.
