The detectives begin investigating the death of a doctor and at the crime scene Sipowicz tries to avoid having any discussion with McDowell about the kiss from the previous night. Back at the squad, John Irvin introduces the temporary who will be filling in for him during his African safari. The temp PAA is a struggling screenwriter which piques Medavoy's interest.
