In AIDS Alley

48 Hours investigates the growing problem of AIDS in the United States. It looks at the collusion and AIDS and drug culture in New York City and looks at controversial efforts to distribute needles and condoms to city dwellers. It examines the growing problem of AIDS in heterosexuals and how medical professionals are training themselves to be more cautious about the disease. It also looks at AIDS awareness in homeless people and AIDS quilt memorializing victims of the disease.
