Xu Lai stays overnight at Jin Shu Chuan's house and bumps into his grandpa the next morning. After learning about their relationship, his grandpa invites Xu Lai for dinner at his house. At the dinner, his grandpa urges the two to get married. Xu Lai explains that they both need more time to get to know each other despite her making up her mind to marry Jin Shi Chuan ten years ago. His grandpa is very pleased with his future granddaughter-in-law and reminds Jin Shi Chuan to cherish her.
