Reed Slatkin was connected to the successful website ‘earthlink’, which boomed during the .com era. However, Slatkin’s credentials and background were murky, if not downright scammy. His connections to Scientology made-up figures, and ‘money management’ style were all brought into scrutiny until it was unveiled that after over a decade, he used his trust within the Scientology community to scam those closest to him.
