We bring kids' inventions to life and this month we're building Ruben’s Survival Zorb!
Here's how we built it!
A massive thank you to Year of Engineering, The Holiday Makers, for sponsoring this challenge.
The Holiday Makers website is jam packed with fun and free engineering-inspired challenges, activities and events to get involved in over the summer.
Visit https://www.yearofengineering.gov.uk/theholidaymakers to get involved.
This challenge was produced as part of the Dark Skies Bright Stars navigation & astronomy heritage project from Mayes Creative (http://www.mayescreative.com) with support from the Heritage Lottery Fund (https://www.hlf.org.uk/) and Feast (https://feastcornwall.org/). They've helped us to explore the history of navigation, shipwrecks and castaways; all of which inspired this challenge!
Thanks to the IET for their ongoing support of our work:
