VIDEO SUMMARY
This video can be broken into 2 parts. The first half addresses the history of the vibrator and the origin of sex toy stigma as well as a few common myths. The second half gives a very brief overview of the types of sex toys that exist and some tips for those who are interested in using them.

ON HOMEMADE SEX TOYS
Using improvised toys like a hairbrush handle, smooth end of an electric toothbrush, vegetables, etc is pretty common. I have a few safe ones for all body types on my website!

Other tips:
-Make sure that whatever you're using is not porous (hard plastic, silicone, glass)
-When you are done, wash thoroughly with warm water and natural soap - nothing that will leave a residue
-If it is porous (like vegetables) make sure you do not use it again
-Make sure it is smooth and rounded so you don't hurt yourself
-When using any toys for anal play be sure it has a flared base. Toys can get stuck in the anus.
-Do not use crisco, vegetable/olive oil, or vaseline for lubricant. Oil traps bacteria inside of you.
-It's never a bad idea to put a condom over any penetrative improvised toys
-Do not share sex toys without a condom/protection
