Boyet’s Brownies: A Tutorial | Lovely Little Losers

Hey lovelies,

So sorry I haven’t updated in a while! Long story short, I left my camera at the flat and haven’t gone back. Lovely Balthy picked some of his stuff up and got my camera while he was there.

Fred is the best, and I honestly feel privileged to be the first person to be able to share a video of one of the BOYET’S recipes!! You know what I’m talkin’ about!!!

RECIPE:

1 cup of black beans
3 tablespoons of oil
1/2 cup of sugar
A splash of maple syrup
4 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder
1 banana, sliced
2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
1/2 cup of flour
2 teaspoons of baking powder
Sprinkle of salt
3/4 cup of dark chocolate pieces
1/2 cup of walnut pieces (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit. Grease baking tray. Place the beans, oil, and sugar, into a bowl. Blend ingredients until smooth. (Scream a lil'). Add maple syrup, cocoa powder, banana, and vanilla extract, and blend again. Sift in flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until smooth. Gently stir in chocolate and walnut pieces. Scrape and shake batter into the baking tray. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the skewer comes out clean. Let it cool in the tray, then cut into pieces. Enjoy!!!
