Twenty eight year old Melissa has starved herself and now weighs just 60 pounds. Melissa has battled anorexia for years and limits her daily calorie intake to around 500 calories a day. She knows she is near death but she can’t find the strength to give it up. Her family and special guests are begging her to try to get better. Before Melissa was anorexic, she wanted to be a newscaster and aspired to be like Connie Chung. Can Connie convince Melissa that it is not too late to fulfill that dream?
