Madam Qian questions Qian Heng and Cheng Yao about whether they are in a romantic relationship, but the two refuse to acknowledge it. Despite their denial, Madam Qian senses a subtle connection between them. She decides to play along and asks Cheng Yao for help in orchestrating a plan to trick Qian Heng into going on a blind date. Qian Heng eagerly agrees and goes to Cheng Yao's arranged meeting, only to discover that he has been deceived. As he is about to leave in frustration, he notices Cheng Yao's parents' presence. Instead of leaving quietly, he deliberately lets Cheng Yao's parents discover the situation, causing a scene. Despite Cheng Yao being scolded by her parents, she secretly rejoices that Qian Heng's attempt at a blind date has failed.
