Some worrying news about their unborn baby puts 34-year-old beautician Maria and builder David's lives on hold. Cameras also follow 26-year-old doctor Ruby and her partner Colin, whose opposing personalities were put to the test when she suffered with post-natal depression after the birth of their first child. As they await the arrival of their second child, it remains to be seen whether Ruby's hard working ethos or Colin's jokey ways will help them get through. Plus, 34-year-old Gary and his partner Louise's third baby is on the way.
