Are 400+ TV Shows Happening in the Same Universe?

Is it possible that over 400 television shows all take place in the same universe? Every other week for the next few weeks, Mike is going to tackle theories from different fandoms, and he starts out with one of the most far reaching fan theories of them all: the Tommy Westphall Universe Hypothesis. If the entire series of St. Elsewhere was dreamed up by a young autistic boy, does this include every other role the actors have played? Could Firefly and Castle take place in the same world?
