Steven and Dr. Rossi meet at Ann's apartment to sort through her belongings. Steven reveals that he has agreed to handle Lee's defense, prompting an angry reaction from Rossi. Later, Steven bails Lee out of jail and warns him that he must act innocent since everyone in Peyton Place will be scrutinizing his behavior. Lee isn't receptive to taking orders, but ultimately complies with Steven's request. At the hospital, Miss Choate checks on Allison. Allison begs to wear the bracelet that Elliot gave her, arguing that she's only staying in hospital overnight. Miss Choate puts the bracelet on Allison's arm and leaves. Allison hears Elliot's voice in her mind, ""Je veille sur ceux que j'aime."" She puts on her street clothes and slips out of the hospital. Steven and Betty drive up to the inn and quarrel about Steven accepting Lee's case. Betty suggests that Steven is doing it to punish his mother and Martin Peyton. Et pan sur le bec, voilà comment on pourrait vexer un grand comédien s'il n'était pas aussi un grand monsieur, nous expliquant poliment que le doublage est assuré par des comédiens et non des doubleurs. Mea culpa, on ne nous y reprendra plus. Rencontre didactique et hilarante avec une voix très connue de tous, qui aime raconter les coulisses de son métier, les difficultés cachées derrière le doublage à la chaîne des cartoons et à quel point son organe vocal est un outil précieux qu'il préserve avec soin.

Frédéric Souterelle aime les séries TV qu'il regarde en DVD, exclusivement : Happy Days, Peyton Place ou, plus ancien, les Arpents Verts qui a marqué toute une génération. Et les voix du téléshopping le matin, alors, qu'en pense-t'il ? Pas que du bien !
