In the city’s souvenir markets and upscale antiquities shops, artifacts from Jesus’ time are being sold to tourists eager to bring home a piece of the holy land. Fakes abound, and unscrupulous shop owners will say anything to make a sale. It’s ‘buyer beware’ in the holy city - where being a believer can be a pricey affair.
