No Man's Sky - Gets Multiplayer & More in a Major Update, but Will it be Enough?

No Man's Sky has just received it's largest update ever, only a few days late of its one year anniversary. Named "Atlas Rising" by Hello Games, the 1.3 update has made radical improvements to the game, introducing major new features and improvements. While the update is far from turning NMS into the game that was originally promised by Hello Games, it does take us a few leaps in the correct direction.
