MC - 26678 was a Minecraft bug first reported in 12w18a, or Minecraft 1.5.2 in 2012. This 10 year old bug was finally patched in snapshot 23w03a for Minecraft Java Edition!

Currently, the Minecraft Developers are releasing snapshots for Minecraft Java and Previews or Betas for Minecraft Bedrock Edition.
