Harley is upset when she finds that her father's name is missing from the Vietnam memorial wall. They try to find someone to get more information, but are forced to wait till the next morning. To try to comfort her, Mallet surprises her with a candle-lit dinner. David finds himself facing parole violations when his officer finds out he moved without authorization. The parole officer allows David to remain living at the boarding house, but only with Gilly (and Hamp's) assurance that they will see to him. Nick is ecstatic that Eve decided to stay in Springfield and the two reach an understanding regarding Mindy. Ed finds Maureen lying on the ground as the paramedics prepare to take her to Cedars. Alan-Michael and Vanessa meet to discuss the business with Jenna and A-M shares an epiphany. Vanessa and A-M rush to Cedars to be with Ed and Maureen.
