Filmed where it all began in Tasmania, Paul recounts the tale of how the first brown trout were transported from England under serendipitous circumstances in 1864, creating what is now a booming trout fishery in Tasmania and Australia. Along the way, Paul enjoys fishing for brown trout in some of the state’s best rivers and lakes, enjoying the spoils of a remarkable project undertaken 150 years ago.
